Back and neck pain
Treatment for chronic lower-back pain, neck tension, and sciatica through meridian-based point selection.
Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine · Burlington, ON
Traditional acupuncture in Burlington by a Registered TCM Practitioner who is also a Registered Massage Therapist — a depth of training few clinics in the area can offer.

Your Practitioner
Mellany has practised Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than fifteen years, treating along the body's meridian pathways with acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping. Each treatment plan is built around your assessment — not a fixed protocol.
Because Mellany is also a Registered Massage Therapist, an acupuncture session here can be complemented by hands-on soft-tissue work when your body would benefit — an integration most TCM clinics in Burlington cannot provide.
What we treat
Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at patterns across the body. Acupuncture at OMNI Clinic offers treatment and support for a range of concerns — always alongside, never instead of, your primary medical care.
Treatment for chronic lower-back pain, neck tension, and sciatica through meridian-based point selection.
Support for tension and migraine headaches — reducing frequency and easing intensity over a course of treatment.
Calming treatment that supports the nervous system and helps the body settle out of a heightened state.
Support for difficulty falling or staying asleep, addressing the patterns TCM associates with restless sleep.
Treatment supporting digestion, bloating, and the gut-related patterns common in TCM assessment.
Supportive acupuncture care for menstrual concerns, menopause, and fertility, alongside your medical team.
Acupuncture as part of recovery from strains and overuse — often paired with hands-on soft-tissue work.
An ongoing course of treatment for persistent pain that hasn't fully resolved with other care.
Modalities
Fine needles placed along meridian pathways to restore flow and support the body's own regulation.
Gentle, targeted warmth applied to specific points to support circulation and ease cold, stagnant patterns.
Suction along the back and limbs to release muscular tension and support local circulation.
Point selection guided by a full TCM assessment rather than a one-size protocol.
Sessions
Choose the length that fits your needs. A course of several sessions is common for ongoing concerns — Mellany will discuss what's appropriate at your first visit.
Common questions
Acupuncture needles are very fine — far thinner than the needles used for injections. Most people feel only a brief, mild sensation, and many find the session deeply relaxing.
It depends on what you're coming in for. Acute concerns may settle in a few sessions; chronic or layered patterns often benefit from a longer course. Mellany will give you a realistic plan at your first visit.
Many extended-health plans in Ontario cover acupuncture by a registered practitioner. Direct billing is available for most plans; you'll receive an itemized receipt for any plan we cannot bill directly.
Yes. Because Mellany is registered as both an R.TCMP and an RMT, your care can blend both — consider The Integrated Session if you'd like both in a single, longer appointment.
